Anti-Bullying Week 2016
Monday 14.11.16 Anti Bullying Week Presentation by letham6313 on Scribd
Over the past few weeks we have been looking very closely at bullying. We have talked about lots of unkind behaviours - hitting, kicking, name-calling, ignoring, staring etc. and agreed that these are not acceptable. We agreed as a school that if someone is unkind to you, even though they have been told to stop and that is not kind, we will describe this as a 'bullying behaviour' in line with the PKC policy. We are keen to support all children to 'stand up' to bullying and to report it as soon as possible. We will contact parents and carers to share concerns if their children are identified as displaying 'bullying behaviours' and will work with them to support their children to improve their behaviour.
Please see the presentation below that was shared with all children across P1-7 on Monday morning - the 'BOUNCEBACK' acronym is really useful as is the 'Follow the 5 to Survive' page; these are two key messages we use to support all children to make good choices.
If you have any concerns at all please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Forbes or Miss Oliver.
