Nursery News

We are glad to welcome back familiar faces and are excited about getting to know all our new children and families. The children will have a busy time investigating their environment.

To ensure that your child has the best possible start he/she can take time to build up to full nursery sessions. Your child’s key worker will support you with this.

  • Your child has a key worker and will check in with her at the beginning of each session with the other children in their group. You will usually collect your child from the same area of nursery:
  • o Seedlings and Brambles meet in room 1
  • o Butterflies meet in room 2
  • o Plum tree group meet in the sensory room (wee base)
  • o Apple tree and Pear tree will meet in the little library (corridor area)

Snack:   Each child receives free milk.

Nurseries in Perth and Kinross ask for £2.00 per week. We collect this on Mondays. £1 of this is a compulsory and covers snack costs. The other £1 is voluntary and covers general fund for small items like paper, paints and toys (to extend the curriculum).

  • Family snack: You will be invited to join your child for snack during this term.
  • Please put spare clothes in a bag which will be kept on your child’s peg.
  • We hope you find our school contact details fridge magnet useful.

 Stay, play and learn together:

  • Thursday 7 September: Outdoor Classroom day. Parents invited to join us for outdoor play and activities: 9.00-10.00am or 2.00-3.00pm.
