Social Media & Internet Safety

Our Get Together this week focused on internet safety and responsible social media use.  There have been a number of concerns shared by parents & carers and children over how social media is being used over the last two weeks.

All children from P2-7 were reminded to THINK before they send a message or make a comment:

Is it True, Helpful, Inspirational, Necessary, Kind?

All children were reminded not to share personal information and to block anyone they do not know.

All children were reminded that an 'online friend' is a stranger.

We are planning to run two workshops after the October holidays to support parents and carers and dates will be released soon.
