Welcome Back
It was lovely to see all children looking so smart in their new uniforms this morning. All of our children including our new P1s have settled into their classrooms really quickly and we hope to have some photographs on Twitter by the end of the day.
Communication with Parents & Carers

Please ensure we have your most current contact details – please contact the school office by telephone, text or email to update us of your changes.
Breakfast Club
Please remember Breakfast Club is now £2 per day for all children across P1-P7 and is open from 8am. Children should enter the school via the main school playground and not from the front car park.
School Dinners
School meals are free for all P1-3 children and are £2.10 for P4-7. Please sign up to Parent Pay to pay for meals - this really helps our office run more smoothly. Pop in and see Debbie or Sarah for more information.
Meet the Teacher: P2-P7
We hope you can come along on Friday 18th August from 2.30pm to meet your child’s new teacher and to have a tour of their new classroom.
Primary 1 & Primary 1/2 - Stay, play and learn together:
- Friday 18 August: parents are welcome to come into school at 11.30 for games and stories with the children.
- Friday 1 September: Early Years Big Pedal. Parents invited from 2.00pm. This event is inspired by The Tour of Britain (a 10 stage professional cycle event across the UK departing from Edinburgh on Sunday 3 September).
- Thursday 7 September: Outdoor Classroom day. Parents invited to join us for Den Building in the school woodland and other activities: 9.00-10.00am or 2.00-3.00pm.
Parent Council Meeting
Our first Parent Council Meeting is on Tuesday 5th September at 6.15pm. New members are always very welcome J. Our first big task this year will be to organise our Halloween Disco!!
Attendance
Please remember to contact the school if your child is to be absent before 9.30am/1.40pm. If no reason has been provided school staff will attempt to contact you to ensure your child is safe and is not missing.
